@winifredblackmon9448 Thank you. Notice what Jesus said during his Sermon on the Mount.
"You must pray, then, this way: 'Our Father in the heavens . . .'" (Matthew 6:9)
That leads to a question, who is our Father? Notice what Psalm 83:18 says (you can look it up in your Bible):
"May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth."
The Bible tells us "Our Father in the heavens" is Jehovah God.
Further, notice what Psalms 65:1,2 calls Jehovah:
"Praise awaits you, O God, in Zion; We will pay our vows to you. O Hearer of prayer, to you people of all sorts, will come."
Jehovah is called the hearer of prayer. Jehovah has given Jesus many responsibilities and privileges, but the one thing He preserves for himself is listening to the prayers of humans. Does that move your heart? Would you like to learn more about our grand creator Jehovah from the Bible? 🙂

@lizgalindo5657 A family man named Tim may be a good Father, a good Architect, and a good Husband. Would you consider Tim, Father, Architect, and Husband to be all his names? The reasonable answer is no. Tim is the man's name. Father, Architect, and Husband are titles that describe who Tim is in various situations.
Similarly, God has a personal name. One he has given himself. "I am Jehovah (or Yahweh). That is my name; I give my glory to no one else, nor my praise to graven images." (Isaiah 42:8) God's name means "He Causes To Become" or "I Am That I Am." It means God can become whatever he needs to accomplish His purpose.
Would you like to learn more about Jehovah, the person behind the name? 🙂

From the published NCBI report, "The effects of allium sativum (garlic) on immunity within the scope of COVID-19 infection," published June 2, 2020.
Garlic is a functional food whose antimicrobial effect was known for a long time.
Coronavirus disease 2019 is a novel disease caused by a new and entirely aggressive version of coronavirus.
This food may be helpful
1. to reverse some signs and symptoms observed in these patients,
2. to reincrease or regain the decreased or lost gustatory sense,
3. to increase the number of Treg cells,
4. to increase cytotoxic and helper T cells,
5. to decrease the levels of leptin, leptin receptor and PPAR-γ
6. to increase appetite,
7. to prevent the inhibition of CD4+ CD25+ FoxP3+, Treg cells,
8. to decrease IL-6 concentrations,
9. to stimulate NK cells,
10. to suppress TNF-α and C- reactive protein.
Immuno-compromised clinical status is life-threatening for patients with COVID-19 infection. Therefore, the beneficial effects of Allium sativum on the immune system are pretty important.
---
Conclusion: Garlic does prepare the body to fight off a virus should one contract one by boosting the immune system with added fiber, Calcium, Copper, Potassium, Phosphorus, Iron, Manganese, Vitamin B1 B6 and C, Selenium. However, it does not protect someone from catching COVID, nor will it protect from a common and severe complication.
