The earth in space.
(Job 26:7) "He stretches out the northern sky over space, suspending the earth upon nothing."
That was NOT the prevailing wisdom of the day, nor ages later. It was not until the 20th century that humans finally saw the truth of those words.
The shape of the planet.
(Isaiah 40:22) "There is One who dwells above the circle of the earth."
For thousands of years, humans have speculated about the earth's shape. Flat-earth, unfortunately, continues to be a thing. However, the Bible, over 3,600 years ago, identified its form in clear language. Yes, one could reason that a sphere is not a circle. Still, when you gaze at that famous moon photo, does the earth look like anything other than a circle?
The science of the water cycle
(Ecclesiastes 1:7) "All the streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is not full. To the place from which the streams flow, there they return to flow again."
DNA.
(Psalms 139:`6) "Your eyes even saw me as an embryo; All its parts were written in your book. Regarding the days when they were formed Before any of them existed."
To be sure, a very rudimentary description, but an apt one considering the writer, King David, had NO knowledge or comprehension of such a thing. He wasn't a scientist.
The science of organisms.
(1 Corinthians 15:39) "Not all flesh is the same flesh, but there is one of mankind, there is another flesh of cattle, another flesh of birds, and another of fish."
Type of stars
(1 Corinthians 15:41) "The glory of the sun is one sort, and the glory of the moon is another, and the glory of the stars is another; in fact, one star differs from another star in glory."
The Bible identified celestial bodies as blue stars, red giants, and white dwarfs long before science discovered them.
Sound medical science.
(Numbers 19:11,19) "Anyone touching any dead person will be unclean for seven days. ... The clean person will spatter it on the unclean one on the third day and the seventh day, and he will purify him from sin on the seventh day; then, he should wash his garments and bathe in water, and he will become clean in the evening."
Until late in the 19th century, physicians often worked on corpses and then on living patients​—without washing their hands in between. That practice caused many deaths. Yet, this Law from God stated that anyone who touched a dead body was ceremonially unclean. It even directed that water be used for a ceremonial cleansing in such cases.
Isolating sick people in Leviticus, chapters 13 and 14. The law required people with leprosy (a contagious disease at the time) to separate from others. It took the medical community until the Middle Ages' plagues to learn to apply this principle, which it still deems effective today.
What the point? The Bible is not a science book. However, when it does discuss things of a scientific nature, it does not clash. Based on the above, the Bible was well ahead of science. It was science who finally caught up with the Bible. However, as a scientist is lauded for sharing scientific truth, God's Words contains numerous truthful scientific-based statements. When math is all around us on our planet and in the cosmos, the only reasonable conclusion is the Bible has earned its right to espouse such things as a universe based on math. And from this, the reasonable scientific judgment reveals clear evidence of design.
