  1. The biblical plagues were sent by God himself to reveal how powerless Egypt's gods were. Each plague was designed to attack a specific god or group of specific gods. The plagues were very careful to hurt or harm only the Egyptians and no one else; except the last. The last required the Israelites to put lamb's blood on their doorpost to preserve all firstborn's life inside the house. This is NOT a plague. This is a human-made problem due to a damaged climate.
