(Matthew 24:36-39) "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the Flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be."
People have a history of ignoring warnings designed to save their life until it is too late. Jesus' account above about people ignoring Noah's warning that a global flood would come and end their lives.
"Concerning that day and hour, nobody knows" relates to an even big event to come soon. This is the end of the system of things. Again, most will ignore the warnings being given through a global preaching work Jesus said would happen before the end. "And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14)
The people who heed the advice will act upon it, but sadly most won't.

Before scientists warned about climate change, Jehovah God gave this warning nearly two thousand years ago.
(Revelation 11:18) "bring to ruin those ruining the earth."
In seven words, Jehovah...
1. Warned that human activity would harm the earth in the future (the time we live in). Climate change is a significant factor in that harm.
2. Would bring the ruining of the earth to a permanent end.
3. HE, not humans, will solve the planet's environmental problems. No matter how hard humans try, they will not be able to solve global environmental issues. The solution requires divine intervention.
God takes things a step further by promising to restore the health of our planet fully.
"The wilderness and the parched land will exult, and the desert plain will be joyful and blossom as the saffron."—Isaiah 35:1.
"There will be an abundance of grain on the earth; On the top of the mountains it will overflow."—Psalms 72:16.
No government on the planet can accomplish this. Jehovah God can and will, and He confidently tells us.
"From the beginning, I predicted the outcome; long ago, I foretold what would happen. I said that my plans would never fail, that I would do everything I intended to do." (Isaiah 46:10)
Knowing this brings peace of mind and freedom from a fear of the future. But this peace and freedom are reserved for those who do Jehovah's will and remain obedient.

We live in "a world where some people have power and others have to suffer under them." (Ecclesiastes 8:9)
Human leadership is a sham and a fraud. "I well know, O Jehovah, that man’s way does not belong to him. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step." (Jeremiah 10:23)
In stark contrast, God's Kingdom (Daniel 2:44) is the perfect government because it is set up by Jehovah God himself. Under Jesus leadership, as the king of God's Kingdom, here are a few benefits this government will bring to humanity:
(Psalms 37:10,11) "Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."
(Isaiah 33:24) "And no resident will say: 'I am sick.'"
(Revelation 21:3-5) "'Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.' And the One seated on the throne said: 'Look! I am making all things new.'"
Jehovah promises all this to those who take action! JW org💖🙂

(Isaiah 45;18) For this is what Jehovah says, The Creator of the heavens, the true God, The One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it, Who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited: "I am Jehovah, and there is no one else."
(Psalms 37:10,11) Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Psalms 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.
I would rather put my faith in the Grand Creator than in a man who's view of the the future was limited.
