  4. Since we first asked questions, religion and "god" have filled the gaps in our knowledge. As we've learned more and more, the "mysteries", one by one are being explained, naturally. Fire, electicity, sickness, natural phenomena, are not explained very well by the demon-filled Bible, or any other holy book, and it's silly to suppose that anything but a natural explanation will be found for such "wonders" as disappearing tumors. {we know remission is a characteristic of cancer}

  5. There is no external evidence, outside the Bibble, written decades after the supposed events of Jesus. In fact it seems likely now, that he was mythical figure, sharing many traits with many other "gods" and "saviors' of the time.

  7. You're kind of right, I did spew a buttload on this one. But not really. I just answered the first one , then I saw how stupid statements you and others were making, and I got on a roll, and bam, bam, bam. On the other hand, I was a believer for many years, Bible major in college, street evangelist, worship leader, youth pastor, so as an atheist again, for the last twenty years, i care about people, and the truth enough to once in a while get into a discussion with a believer.
