@artaim2000 you've got to be 20 years old. Cassette sound like shit and they last half the life time of a cd. You're hilarious. They're only making resurgence among hipsters.

In fact, most musicians and bands releasing music, that are not on major labels, are releasing on CD.

@artaim2000 Here are some facts. Last year cassette sales were around 100,000 units.. Vinyl records around 9 million. And CDs sold around 60 million. You do the math.
26
@artaim2000 you're hallucinating. vinyl has never gone away but made a resurgence because that's one way have made a resurgence but they'll fade again cuz they are a crap format. as I said most new bands, artists and singers release their music on CD as well. To have some physical product and it's inexpensive.
24
@artaim2000 Yes most popular artist. After that, most bands and artists are releasing cds, because they are not popular. We are just out here making music. Only the tip of the iceberg have you ever heard of.
21
@artaim2000 in addition, almost no one has a cassette player. Almost no one has a record player. Almost everyone can play CDs because they play on DVD players as well. We've been collecting CDs for decades, we still have them. They need to be played. And as I keep saying, like you like to say, all new bands and singers release CDs with their new music as long as they're not signed on a label which is most of us.

@artaim2000 what's not true? And stop yelling. like I said cassette as a audio medium sucks and will fade away again in a couple years. Vinyl has made a comeback but only among collectors and hipsters. 90% of us are listening to music downloaded streamed, or on a cd. you sound awful young. By the way I'm a professional musician in the business for many years I know what the fuck I'm talking about

Captainzilla418 No, cassette sound depends on the type of tape. And CD players are not anymore or less portable than tapes.

@KylesVideos Wow and flutter? I was well versed on high end audio in the '70s. Yeah I know what they mean. And cassettes are inferior format.
3
@Warp2090 You said almost everybody has record players in cassette decks. That is so far from the truth it's ridiculous. You're the one that is ignorant. Tell me something I said that is wrong or false or trolling. Thank you.

@pablothesaint right, my audience is probably millennials or older.

@davidt8087 DAT Can sound as good as CD because it is digital. But who has a dat machine? Not so much cassette though I don’t think. And why do you think I’m so young? I’m 62. I don’t want to scroll back through 200 comments to find out what the heck I said.
2
@SartorialisticSavage65 Yes it is. Keyword=Underground Not popular Relatively few sales units. Niche marketing to a small market. Btw, vinyl still sounds amazing and cassette tape sucks wind.
2
@Warp2090 ??? You must be very young. Most people do not have either. Hardly anybody has a record player or a cassette player. They are very small niche audience.
2
@Warp2090 metal tapes don't sound too bad but that's about it. CDs are much less easily damaged than tapes. Tapes constantly would get fouled up and unwound.
2
@Warp2090 lol. I'm not a troll at all what makes you think that? I'm just an old guy. I grew up with vinyl then I had cassette then CD. I get the whole thing. I am anti-christian yes.
2
@Warp2090 are you projecting much? You're the troll. You are accusing me over and over without giving me one example. Give me one example.

@aleksiesko885 thank you. Happy monday!

@companionsytoriginal873 so what? I know a guy who has a model t it's a hundred years old. And I play a hundred forty year old banjo. What's your point? Do you have a good cassette player , or a piece of garbage that has been made in the last 30 years. Cassettes are cute but they are inferior audio.
1
@333krook Because cassettes had been discontinued for at least a decade at that point.
