They were not Christians. Deists do not believe in a personal god. Jefferson created his own version of the Bible by removing all of the miraculous lines.

  38. When you are in ketosis, you are not depriving your body of calories. You're literally living off of your fat. Not burning muscle. I've use ketosis to diet a couple of times. Could eat a 3/4 lb bacon cheeseburger minus the bread for dinner and wake up the next morning a pound lighter.
