  1. I wish it weren't so. Israel's security should not be Germany's raison d'etre and frankly this oath of loyalty to Israel in Saxony-Anhalt is insulting. Israel can and should be criticised for her policies.

  2.  @chessnut4886  I don't like watching my government back criminals and I feel absolutely zero historic responsibility for Israel. Also, an oath of loyalty to a different country should not be a prerequisite for becoming a German citizen.
