Someone tell Scholz that he is the German chancellor, not the American Viceroy of Germany.
144
And just like that Musk is already a better diplomat than Baerbock.
138
We in the West used to produce impressive politicians. Now we are just one massive circus.
103
Finally, finally the curse hits Scholz.
89
Obviously Russia won't talk with us in the EU. If you voluntarily sit down at the children's table the adults won't take you seriously when you stand up to talk with them.
41
Five years, huh? Getting really tired of the fearmongering.
38
Yep, Germany is going down the tubes.
37
Scholz got booed during a recent handball game, so it's not just our esteemed finance minister Lindner that is getting heckled. Oh, and please tell me we'll station the Bundeswehr in Silesia, Pomerania and Masuria. I want to see the complete meltdown of the Polish right.š
29
Alexa, play Sabaton's "The Price of a Mile" for Zelensky. Jesus Christ, and the meatgrinder continues. Good to know we learnt exactly nothing over the last hundred years since World War 1.
27
Germany showing the world some real āfeministā foreign policy. As Baerbock promised.
26
Macron looked at Putin's shirtless photos and thought to himself that he can do better. Too bad there is no bite behind the bark.
20
She had the Bismarck-Zimmer (Bismarck room) in the Foreign Ministry renamed, because German history begins in 1990 or something.š
19
The Zelensky curse can't come fast enough for Scholz.
19
I too have ideas on how to reshape the borders of Europe. How come I donāt get billions of dollars to buy myself palaces in America, Italy and so forth?
19
Don't worry, that's just the usual bluster that we've been subjected to since at least Trump's victory in 2016. In truth these clowns in the German government would rather not have a Bundeswehr at all.
16
Everytime I'm confronted with the disappointing reality that Olaf Scholz is the German chancellor I remind myself that it could have been Annalena. Usually this lifts my spirit by a tiny bit.
12
Think about our sovereignty? Since when do we have that?
11
Ā @IjusthopeitsquickĀ Yes, a German chancellor would be looking out for German interests, instead of subordinating those to American geopolitical ambitions.
10
And just as I thought Baerbock wouldn't make today's clown world selection and I felt an inkling of relief she manages to sneak in at the last minute.
7
Why would MBS do it? I mean, you could ask the same question about Europe.
7
Scholz is always worth a clown story.
6
I wonder if I will ever see a far-centrist party?
6
I swear, I'll never again wonder why the leaders of World War 1 didn't seriously press for real peace talks and instead opted for ever more war until everyone was worse off, victors and defeated alike. Today's clownshow has cleared all of that up for me.
5
Does it count as outsmarting if Orban just decided to make all the right call and stay put while his opponents ran head first into the wall?
5
Ā @SvetlanaVladimirova8590Ā Oh, and who gave you the right?
5
I guess the news from Saxony have spooked some of the clowns in our government. According to a new poll the AfD is with 37% the frontrunner, followed by the CDU with 33%. Scholz's SPD only at 3%, wouldn't even be in the Landtag if the election was held today. Same goes for the liberal FDP with 1%. Of our governing coalition only the Greens would make it with 8%, meaning that even together the traffic light coalition barely scraps together 12%.
4
We are ruled by morons here in Germany.
4
A winter drone offensive, huh? Well, something tells me that the old maxim "switch the words Russia and Ukraine in every statements from the Ukrainian government to get to the truth" will hold true once again.
4
Ā @dkblack1289Ā š I wrote impressive, I didn't write virtuous people that would stand up to your smell test.
4
Scholz as always hard at work trying to erase Germany.
4
One could almost assume they didnāt appreciate it when the Soviets attacked them for no reason.
4
It wouldnāt be the German Bundestag anymore if it stopped providing clownworlds. And to think that Germany used to be a serious country in the past.
3
Ā @kellynestegard5208Ā It doesn't. The Bundeswehr uses the Black Cross/Iron Cross.
3
Oh, we aren't allies with Ukraine? Then why the self-inflicted catastrophe? Could it be that Germany is an obedient vassal state of the US, same as the Ukraine?
3
I hope Germany won't be there for the Nord Stream bombers.
3
Putin is truly the most powerful man on the planet. He is probably behind the strikes in Germany, too.š±
3
In 1914 it only cost them 25% of their population.
3
Yes, it's legal. Parliament elects the chancellor, not the citizenry.
3
Germany?
2
Ā @Hotstepper2569Ā š Germany trashed Russia in WW1 and kicked it out of the war.
2
Ā @Vlad-The-SANCTIONS-IMPALERĀ Right, keep telling yourself that.
2
I thought the clown world would be Kamala's I am a man ad.
2
Speaking of destroying one's country and Germany, when they talk about a West German option, is that a tacit acknowledgement that Ukraine is never going to get Crimea back? Probably not, these morons have probably never opened a history book.
2
I wish the German economy was in much tatters as the Russian one.
2
That straight-talker could have been German chancellor. That's a scary thought.
2
Oh come on, Vienna already has pieces like the Neptunbrunnen and it's sssoooooo 18th century. Modern art is where it's at.š
2
There was also a Russian division fighting for Germany.
2
Scholz and the Greens don't like German, so I'm not surprised they look forward to dismantling the state.
2
So Kazimir Malevich would have been murdered by the Ukrainians had he lived a couple more years and been around in Volhynia, huh?
2
Scholzās poll numbers are so deep in the toilet I wouldnāt be surprised if he got replaced by Pistorius White House-style come the election.
