  1. In my opinion we are falling behind simply because we are willful stirrup holders (or vassals to be frank) of the US. They can literally blow up our infrastructure and we react to it be thanking and asking for another. The Ukraine war has also revealed how much our industrial capacity has collapsed where we can't even keep Ukraine supplied with ammunition, let alone keep up with Russia.
