  1. Just to point out, while it's true that the Soviet Union destroyed nazism, the point about liberation (in eastern Europe) should get an asteriks. They removed the spiked jackboot of Hitler's armies, but replaced it with their own. No metal potrusions, but a jackboot nonetheless.
