  6.  @peabase  Which is just another way of saying that someone doesn't want to admit that Israel lost a war. They wanted to dislodge Hezbollah from the south of Lebanon and, as should be obvious, that didn't happen.

  8.  @peabase  Yeah, yeah, and Hezbollah has no agency of its own, because of magic mindcontrol rays from Iran. Hezbollah started as an organic resistance movement back when Israel was still occupying the south of Lebanon, their whole shtick and legitimacy rests on the idea that they can fight back. They don't need Iran to pick a fight with Israel, win it and use that to legitimise themselves.
