@syncmonism Yes of course, they never wanted the war to happen, they just chose to pursue Ukrainian membership of NATO irregardless of knowing that it was a Russian red line. They just chose to back a coup that would later clamp down on minorities in Ukraine. They just chose to hamstrung the Minsk Accords. They just chose to refuse negotiations on a new security framework in Europe. They just chose to break off peace negotiations in Instanbul. They never wanted the war to happen, sure, they just did whatever they could to start it (perhaps because they thought Putin was bluffing?). Well, congratulations, war happened, Ukraine is getting wrecked, they blew up the Nord Stream pipelines and the media is spinning in endless circles trying to keep up with the lies.
