  2.  @thegreatdane3627  "Little chance of taking". First up, you should recognise your own weakness and try to go from there. There is no magic formular with which Ukraine can improve her situation. Until people like you get this, the war is going to continue and Ukraine's outlook gets worse and worse. You want to know when they should have talked? Before the offensive when you had this vaunted NATO-trained army as leverage. Before that , you could have negotiated after Russia's Kherson withdrawal as Mark Milley called them to do. Before that they could have not walked away from the March/April talks. Before that they could have agreed to neutrality and implement the Minsk agreement. It's getting worse and worse for Ukraine, but still people pretend as if Ukraine cannot negotiate and that there is some pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that is going to make all your wishes come true.

  4.  @thegreatdane3627  Same reason the Central Powers collapsed in WW1 for example. I'm sure you don't understand this, but people don't grow on trees and neither do they come from the supermarket ready to fight. Take a look at Ukraine's demograpy and ask yourself how many young men there are to be soldiers (well, Ukraine is talking about drafting women now, which I'm sure you are going to ignore, not to mention that the average age at the frontline is now past 40), how many people there are to keep some sort of economy going, etc.. That's just the manpower issue. Ammunition is a different problem and no, you do not print shells in the way you print dollar bills. That doesn't work like that and we are already getting articles of shell hunger in Ukraine. Same goes for equipment such as artillery and tanks. You do not wish them into existence. We've also been told about infighting in the leadership of Ukraine, something you probably don't want to hear about, and you probably believe in stories like that one general who was killed just mishandled grenades that he mistook for drinking glasses. Here is the cold truth: Russia has more of everything. Soldiers, equipment, ammuntion, economy, manpower to be drafted, space to trade for time (if they have to), resources, no matter what, they have more. Now do me a favour and explain how you believe Ukraine can win. I'm just dying to hear that since you seem to think that Ukraine can.

What do you think is going to happen when the army collapses and cannot meaningfully offer any resistance anymore? That these cities will be massive strongholds? Who'd garrison them? Also, you really show that you don't know the first thing about the conflict. Avdiivka is the main defensive structure opposite of Donetzk, built up over eight years. You think every city in Ukraine has been turned into a bastion?
