Looks like the NGOs won this battle. Not surprising, their funding comes from far richer countries abroad. By the way, I think the actual reason Russia is concerned isn't that a pro-West protest forced a pro-West parliament to do something, it's because instability at one's border is always a problem (not to mention that they probably don't want a repeat of 2008).

@jailbreak852 And what would be the actual reason then? That a country they aren't even at good terms with is not disclosing where all the money is coming from that is influencing society and politics?

@Lorenz1973 Of course they are foreign agents, it's literally the definition. Not to mention that the EU and its member states should not interfere in the political life of others without scrutiny. It's undermining the sovereignty of said others if the EU or the American subsidise parties in favour of others, just because they want to push certain policies through.

@Lorenz1973 Oh yes, I'm sure the Kremlin is shaking in its boots because NGOs in Georgia don't have to disclose when they are financed by American organisations.🙄
