@danwelterweight4137 Doesn't change that Germany beat Russia so badly they had two revolutions and a civil war over that defeat. Also, it didn't happen at the same time, what are you even talking about?

@jtothed8575 I can tell you don't know what you are talking about. The Brusilov offensive imploded September 1916 and was the last "successful" major Russian offensive of the war on the eastern front, but by no means the last offensive action Russia undertook. It's those failures that led to the February Revolution toppling the Tsar (in March 1917) and to the establishment of two rival governments, one deeply incompetent, the other looking for peace. Lenin takes the train a month later.

@dissco.partysan3333 Right, and if the Tsar's government had begun peace talks you'd be writing that Nicholas would have had knocked Russia out of the war. Listen, I don't care for your revisionism. Russia was beaten on the battlefield, the Communists wanted peace.
