  1. Considering the US bombed our NordStream pipelines I wish they were able to drive a wedge between Europe and the US, but as it stands our politicians like to stay subservient.

  2.  @phoebeli3742  They are ideologically captured and keep us in a neocon (on the right) or neoliberal (on the left) prison. Which probably stems from a lot of money and/or a fundamental belief in America as the "shining city on a hill" (which any serious analysis of US history should disabuse us from, but it's ideological).
