Well, no wonder he's regarded by the russians as the greatest military mastermind. He saved Leningrad, Moscow and Stalingrad.
2000
How ironic is that? He managed to bring so many to the guillotine only to end up like them.

1. He was born in Sighisoara, a city situated in Transylvania. 2. Yes, he was cruel but the people still loved him. 3. He did kill someone in that famous night attack. 4. His enemies fabricated a letter in which he promised the turks that he will switch sides but that wasn't true and that letter led to his arrest. 5. As a romanian, I'm proud that we had such a ruler. I don't care what anybody else thinks of him, he will always be remembered as a great ruler. With that being said, Simon my good sir I wish to thank you for doing this video. Cheers from Romania.

Gipsy Danger Also he said "Hate Nazism but respect the German people" and signed 3 resolutions to ensure an adequated standard of living for all German people living in the Soviet occupation zone.

For a person that did so much, it's such a shame that people don't mention him as much as he deserves.

This comment took me by surprise

Otto von Bismarck knew how to turn things in his favour but he could not persuade everyone to do what he wanted. Simon, I really like the editing. Send my regards to the person who did it.

I'm glad that you have decided to make a video about Trajan. He's an important part of our history. Also, after the Siege of Sarmisegetuza ended in a decisive Roman victory followed by Decebal's suicide, a confidant of the king, Bicilis, led the Romans to the king's hidden treasure. According to Jerome Carpocino, a French historian and author, the Romans found 165.5 tones of gold and 331 tones of silver. Now those numbers can be sightly exaggerated but there's no doubt that Dacia did have a huge gold deposit.

The belgians like you know that but others don't know this.

Cranius Dominus Thank you for sharing this information :)

Forget about the rest of the family being decapited, the man would have woken up to discover a horse head laying down on his bed.

Simon, I wish to thank you an the team for making this. To know that someone that worked did everything he could to help is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately Simon, there are still morons that don't believe that the Holocaust and everything that happened during those years it's not real.
43
Great documentary and I believe there's a movie about him, with Denzel Washington being the main character. With that being said, I have a question for Simon. What was that pirate noise?
29
Nice pun👌
23
Nice pun 👏

This man was an absolute genius. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest personalities.

@butterball33 As Simon, if Schindler would have never done all of those things, he would never be able to save 1,098 Jews at the cost of him losing his whole fortune so don't try to make him look like a total bad guy.
20
Innocent women killed because a lunatic believed that they were witches.
20
@eoindevlin6470 It's just advertising, you don't have to be that upset.
20
I agree.
19
@butterball33 Yes, he did lost his fortune, saved more people and it's a real shame that he didn't get the recognition he deserved during his life but you should not bash Schindler like that. After all, he did everything he could to save those people and he was successful in the end. It's not like he was interested in saving them just before the Soviets closing in on Germany in order to save his skin.
17
Congrats on the heart.
16
It's easy to condamn her for working for the Nazis but as you said, she would have lost everything and working so hard to get where she wanted, no way she would have let it go so easily.
15
@oslonorway547 Jen is really good at editing or so it seems. I will keep an eye on them.
15
I was wondering if you'll do a video about her and here it is.
14
True.
14
Adrian and Amadeo in the same place? The level of awesomeness would have reached new heights.
12
Rock-E Oldboy I understand what are you're trying to say but Russia out of all the places in the world?
11
As many have said on different videos, not all the heroes wear a cap. We can't thank him enough for what he did.
11
christine paris I agree with you on that 100%.
10
'Killing Lincoln' is an amazing documentary or at least this is how I see it.
10
@grapeshot Throw the white people out instead of killing innocent people, especially children. By doing that, they became what they hated the most.
10
I second that.
9
DOGMA1138 I know that I'm a bloody idiot but come on. Leningrad and Stalingrad are NOT the same city. Leningrad is Sankt Petersburg and Stalingrad is Volgograd.
9
I like it 👌
9
The Brits were smart enough to have her as a spy and that paid dividends so kudos to them to recognize a really good asset.
9
This man was an absolute genius.
9
108johnny Because he can't play the role of a white guy.
9
Everyone has a dark side, his only became public because he was public figure.
8
That "short discussion" between Caligula and those senators will absolutely brilliant and I fricking love it.
8
@danielromberg685 Overthrown the white masters and kick them out the country instead of killing people that didn't bring you any harm. That's what I would have done. Killing innocent people under the pretext of what many of your people had to endure turns you in the thing you hate the most and that doesn't make it right.
8
It's your opinion and if someone wants to contradict you must do it with some solid arguments.
7
Rock-E Oldboy Since you mentioned that Trump - Putin connection, I wonder the same. He could have tried to leave for Ecuador, since that was his final destination, but I wonder what made him stay in Russia. As Simon said, no one can say for sure that he's a hero (as some of you are saying) or a traitor (if it is true, then some people have come across some informations that can lead to other people being hurt or worse).
5
I love that sense of realisation from Simon and that big smile.
5
I almost the last one as "jack the ripper" instead of "jack the dripper".
5
If she was portraited the way some family members wanted, I ask myself how many people that left their mark on history, on a good or bad way, received the same "treatment".
4
Indeed.
4
@JonManProductions I love it.
4
Yes but it's far from reality.
4
2 biographies in 1. Well done to everyone from the Biographics team that made this video possible.
