  1. Imagining Ukraine taking Crimea is more a case of imagining russia's ability to hold it. I think the AFU is a great fighting force but it is a pretty tall order. The russian general in charge of the defense of Crimea seems competent unlike others we have seen. And there would seem to be too many choke points. However there are many inlets & islands north of Crimea to bypass those choke points. My money would be on Ukraine but it might not be so easy as other places.
