There is a chance this might be the closing scenes of the war. And when you make trolls unhappy you are doing a good job. LOL!! I even saw one yesterday say the Russians were waiting for winter before they get serious. 🤣I think Ukraine is winning big time more on their own competence. But there is no denying the incompetence on the other side.

I got part of Kherson offensive right. But totally missed some of the strategy. I think Russia did sense a trap at first, but someone (Putin?) decided to go all in. They missed almost all of this and Ukraine 'played them like a drum'. I'm just some what of a long time scholar of history so not surprising I was wrong. Shocking that the professionals on the Russian side picked up no hint of any danger. These are some of Russia's best (remaining) troops with their best equipment!!

@Richard Gilley The forces in Ukraine are roughly 10% of Russian military. To assume they could roll in the rest is to not understand. They have a large border guard to post along a very long border with not to friendly neighbors. Since their naval fleets are idol due to cost, they could send in 20% of those maybe? Guarding against enemy threats all around them (most imagined only) keep the rest in place. I'm sure you are a troll & will tear this apart, but I thought I would put the truth out there for every one that was interested.
