@gerbrandlub Ummm . . . They did block the flow shortly after russia annexed Crimea. The flow was only restored Feb 26 by the russians. It was one of the reasons used to invade Ukraine on the 24th.

@taefravis Probably one of the first things to negotiate with russia is the fanboys must be excepted into russia. It's actually much more complicated than it sounds. Splitting families up, parents going to russian & minor children staying. The sale of their property. They will want to do it in a legalistic way. Later russia may just start shooting those they are given. Ukraine may want to do deprogramming to turn the fanboys away from russia. Yadda Yadda. There will be some hardliners refusing to change & they should get their wish. But there is a lot involved with it.

Kherson is but the latest in a list of things that putin says is inviolate one day, then a short while later doesn't mind happening at all. From a huge effort to take Kiev with huge loses. To moving tactical nukes near Finland when they threatened to join NATO. And now annexing 'forever' Kherson & abandoning it a few weeks later. Any parent can tell you about their child wanting something so bad they throw a fit about it, then deciding they didn't want it anyway when they understand they won't get it. Ukraine needs to keep spanking russia's butt. LOL!!
