  1. With all due respect to the Professor, Kyrgyzstan could have been visited by people long resistant to Yersinia that only passed it on there. It is possible (not likely) they have found where it started. It is also possible this is all speculation and only the earliest outbreak found so far. The origin could be thousands of years before 1330. This also is unlikely but still valid.
