  3. You don't need to be an economist to understand. The head of the Russian Central Bank is a very smart lady. She has come up with some very innovative ideas to keep the Ruble propped up. But this can only go on so long before the government can't afford it. If the Ruble stays in a market environment inside Russia, it could eventually free fall. Many countries disassociated from the Ruble trade it at 150 Rubles to the Dollar. I would imagine the Government would declare an official value before a free fall price like in the mid 1990s. But the actual value outside will continue to fall if they trade it at all.

I have heard that Germany is very welcoming to Russians fleeing mobilization. This may not be your ideal destination. So Cyprus? Canada? I haven't done any research. Just tossing names out that I know might be receptive. Maybe you are getting more views because more people care about things that are important than just a 'fluff piece'. There I go, thinking again.

  10. I would say a full 70% of those trying to flee would happily go back to their sofa & cheer for Russia in the war if mobilization were cancelled. Good luck to the rest of them though. I am getting to appreciate not being born in the new USSR (Putin's Pity Party). Maybe things will change for the better fast now.

  11. Don't make fun of Simonyan. I think she may be on to something. There are nukes that don't leave a lot of lingering radiations. The EMP she is talking about would only be of limited scope. 100 km over Siberia would shut down all unshielded electronics susceptible to induce currents over Siberia. It would not effect the whole earth as she says. An shielded electonics would not be affected. I think she is confusing EMP with coronal mass ejection from the Sun. Which would do the same thing.

  13. Congratulations Roman!! I hear Portugal is a wonderful place. Stay there if you can & someday either make it your permanent home or find your forever home from there. My ex moved there because of so many pluses. I think she eventually came back to the US. But if you know my ex, she researches EVERY thing. So you are in a good place with very few drawbacks.

  14. You have the bad fortune of being born in russia & carry an automatic stain from it. I personally think you escaping russia due to moral outrage would absolve you. But not everyone feels the same. Working so long against an authoritative rule of putin should put you far past that now. Natasha in Natasha's Adventures is the only one I know that has been more outspoken. I don't think it will happen, but you might return to your hometown a hero for your stance someday

  18. in the summer of 2023 there was the 'Covid lockdown' in China with riots causing China to back off their policies. Within 2 months of the riots doing a YouTube search for 'Chinese riots' only brought up 'chinese riots of 1921' as the closest match. Interesting, isn't it? The only possible answer was YouTube was taking hush money from China. The solution for you is simple. Have your subscribers watch your channel for new videos. If they don't get a notification, then they need to send feed back to YouTube. YT hates feedback. If enough do this, your notifications will be solved.

  19. As one from the West, I have never believed the polls in Russia. I am concerned that there is an upswing in approval even in bogus polls. I attribute it to 'circling of the wagons' once the Putin regime comes under attack world wide. So I'm not very concerned about it. But I am amazed at those that take a combative stance in support of leadership. Those speaking in support may do so under threat of prison. But there are some that seem to be very supportive & wish death to those that oppose it. Here in the US we don't believe anything (except what we want to believe) said in the news. So it seems like a foreign concept to us. There would have been about a dozen conspiracy theories if our President would have gotten involved in something like this. And huge rallies against & countless calls for the leaders to step down. There are some ugly stereotypes being formed about the Russian race right now. And it isn't just the jokes about the Russian Military being a totally inept. But I won't go into all that. It is a very small group of people right now. But I know more people are thinking about it.
