Within 2 months of the riots doing a YouTube search for 'Chinese riots' only brought up 'chinese riots of 1921' as the closest match. Interesting, isn't it? The only possible answer was YouTube was taking hush money from China. The solution for you is simple. Have your subscribers watch your channel for new videos. If they don't get a notification, then they need to send feed back to YouTube. YT hates feedback. If enough do this, your notifications will be solved.
