I remember your videos from a year ago half joking - half serious about the US giving you some Abrams tanks & A-10 Warthogs. I see from this video you are getting F-16's now. Very good choice. Very nimble, easy to maintain, & cost effective. What is the status of Estonia getting Abrams, A-10's, plus anything else you might need?

While the Russia state media tells wilder stories, while Russian bloggers more & more tell the truth. LOL!! I love it! I watch a few of these & it is true. Hungary is still in the EU like Turkey is still in NATO. Once you're in, there is no way to be tossed out. I agree that Ukraine may not even seek membership now.

An interesting side note. The Tuvan republic was that area with most troops at the front. That was a few months ago but now with mobilization who knows? A few months ago for every soldier from Moscow there were more than 300 from Tuva.

BTW Tula where I think this video might be taken isn't the same as the Republic of Tuva.

Oh good. Putin is the military commander now. It does sound a lot like Stalin's no retreat policy. Or Hitler's 'Fortress' declarations. Either way, the Russian soldiers on the ground are screwed. It is so hard to imagine them in a worse condition than a few weeks ago. I guess it will hit bottom when the mobilization force gets into action. And those rusty AK's start blowing up in their face.

They always say 'You don't get to choose the cat, the cat chooses you' :-)

The demonstration in Moscow most recently is a carbon copy of the one before. It is of little consequence here in the US.

(15:09) They can quickly clear a path with a line charge called MICLIC. The line is explosive & will set off all pressure mines. I'm not familiar with all the details but I believe the line is about 300 m long in the modern version. So you may need more than one charge to cross a mine field. There are several videos about these that will tell you all about it. (25:05) The lost tanks were M60's I believe. My memory probably fails me, but Iraq '91 there was one Abrams disabled. I think it was disabled in action & had to be destroyed by it's crew. Double check someone that has more historical facts than I do on that one.

The only decision that Nagumo should have been criticized about is he should have turned away & sailed opposite from the enemy force. Japanese carrier based planes were much longer range than the US planes. As it turned out the US planes did press the attack past halfway through their fuel but would have turned back before much longer. If the Japanese force would have sailed away even 10 or 15 nautical miles further, Midway probably would have been a Japanese victory. They could have kept the US force at distance but his own force could have reach the US carriers. They could have hammered the surface fleet then turned East to hammer Midway. It sounds so minor given all the doubt of what the enemy composition was. But it was a blunder.

Thanks for the insight Artur. I get my sources from some in Ukraine and even some inside Russia. It is nice to hear some thoughts from someone like you. I have a feeling you are saying what some in NATO are thinking. But they have to remain guarded in what they say. Thanks again.

I see the extreme range issue was covered. My bad . . . I should always watch the video to the end. LOL!! Never mind my last comment.

You know . . . It seems to me with more than 600k subscribers here. Many have subscriptions to other Patreons. What if all your subscribers were to complain & threaten to pull their other subscription. In fact, I'm about to let one subscription expire & I could tie that to this injustice. Unless you tell me NOT to do this I will in the next few days.

As the central power of Russia weakens the more tribal regions are free to settle old scores. If there is a breakup of Russia, this could be a preview. But i wouldn't expect a lot. It is just something to keep in mind. This 'boiler has been building pressure' for a very long time.

Check with the other content creators. Denys Davydov goes into details what he thinks has happened. Don't give up hope!! Many of those say the situation has been corrected.

And all the 2nd (worst) army of the world can hope for it that their Russian officers don't sell too much winter gear on eBay. Those T-55's are looking better each day for the Russians. Assuming they haven't been sitting in water & long ago rusted out. I don't think they can go back any further to get tanks without robbing some museums or monuments.

Matt is pretty funny. Americans use both systems of measure. Well, there are more than just two measures like nautical miles, space, etc. Yes, you can own a tank in the US. Some places are pretty paranoid about it but some places it can be done. I don't think you would be allowed to own current military issue unless you have a special permit like you are a collector. Some places will even let you drive them.

I thought it was a stirring parade. It would have been nice to know if Mrs. Scourge of the Earth prefers kissing her husband or one of his body doubles at these things. Maybe the Scourge went off with his mistress. Oh well . . . If they would have waited a little longer, the parade goers would have seen a russian tank turret flyover. 🤣🤣🤣

A battleship firing a full broadside could never capsize. You would have to design a ship that was top heavy to do such a thing. While it is possible the Japanese would have surrendered anyway (you can play that 'what if' game endlessly) it is likely the atomic bombs did save millions of lives.
