  4. It would seem to me to be pretty simple to use a content provider to be used for counter intelligence. And I think the FSB realizes that. So they just ignore what advice is out there on the internet. Now as far as spreading disinformation, that is a completely different matter as evidenced by all the paid trolls in comments.

  5. Elon is well known to espouse on subjects he knows nothing about. He can't get but about half his projects his own company is suppose to undertake. Like an orc bot/troll, you can probably ignore most of what Elon says with no further comment.

  6. Not knowing the kind of tripe that Putin seeks out for advice (can imagine some it), he is probably getting some sound advice too. There are several reasons why a nuclear strike may not take place at all. And you have mentioned one. The human launch chain. I will talk about that because it is painfully obvious to everyone. If there was enough intelligence coming out the first of the year to warn Ukraine, how many 'plants' would there be in the Russian 'human launch chain'? First wouldn't even come from the West. People looking to remove Putin is probably a large segment of the government now. A plan like you suggest would probably be a huge tipping point. Even now he may already be out of the circuit for such a thing. I think people in the world amassed against Russia can sleep easy tonight. I would be speculating about other measures that are taken. And I won't mention them just in case I might be right about one or two.

  11. Weight on a bipodal platform can be distributed just as in a tank or even better. But what balances such a top heavy weapon puts it firmly in 'pipe dream' territory. Plus putting some weapon up that high for every thing for kilometers around to take shots at, would not be a good idea. Comic fan bois need to come back down to earth. LOL!!   13. Good enough for today is never good enough for tomorrow. Who could have predicted a 'Drone War' on the scale we have today? In fact, low & slow drones may very well fill the A-10's role. You will always need a human's situational awareness above the battlefield. But to fly headlong down a line of armor? Send in the Bayraktars.
