So did the facts blur into a series of event that he just doesn't remember right? Is PTSD really altering his memory? Or he knew he was pulling the trigger (accidentally I would hope) or a finger slipped, and just trying to cover his mistake? I know what this story smacks of to me. And no, not a deliberate act. The fact that someone had loaded a live round seems to indicate a tragic series of events. But why then lie about this one point. Maybe he is effected by PTSD.
