  1. A lot of politicians use 'double-speak' but they are rarely so stark, extreme, or vague about trigger points. It is a stark example because it is literally two sentences next to each other contradicting each other. Most experienced politicians will spread the two out. At least by a few sentences. Russian politicians obviously don't have the time to waste. Extreme in what he implies but never spells out. Vague because the trigger to invade Ukraine was never made clear either. De-militarization & De-Nazification might as well have been 'We want the industrial & natural resources in the East. And we will take the whole country if we can'. Oil reserves were discovered in areas not occupied just a few weeks before the invasion. I guess Finland, Estonia, Poland, etc could look forward to Russians invading on a whim of their government?
