  1. It is nice to see others thinking of this also. It seems obvious since 1991 there would be talk of this. Now accelerated by events in Ukraine. I think most world powers have to consider if a breakup is what they want. I would hope not many people have forgotten that China made overt territorial claims to Vladivostok in July 2020. So with an independent Primorsky Krai China would find taking over Vladivostok much easier. Of course powerful nations have no say in the matter & China may not try to take over. But I just want to bring into focus the possible dangers of a breakup. I think the really big danger is old tribal instincts taking over & old score to be settled between the federal districts in Russia. But external dangers do exist also. A breakup in Russia probably wouldn't be a big, world peace, coombia moment in all cases. It would be interesting to watch & an exciting time in Russia like they haven't experienced before.
