  1. While nothing can be known for sure, you should consider the source. Ukraine has made great strides to treat POW humanely. What we have seen in the past (I'm 71) in Viet Nam through to Iraq have been obviously staged events. Ukraine isn't perfect in warfare, no country is. I would also point out the large pool of POW pilots & officers they could parade out for such confessions. Yet how many of these have you seen?
