  3. This is not in the manner of Russian leadership. Which is neither a criticism or endorsement. No Russian leader has visited a war zone since Czar Nicholas II. I don't think there is a Wiki page for such a thing but there are other ways to look it up. I have my own thoughts why. They basically don't have to endear the regular people & are too busy holding their power in the Kremlin. In this particular war he might fear assassination. There are many ways to point out Putin's faults. But actually not visiting the front is just business as usual.
