There are others much larger than Heineken. Before I name names I have to say I kind of respect the companies that say they have no intentions of withdrawing from a market. It is voluntary & I appreciate those that say it up front. Their are companies like Levi's jeans that said they wanted nothing to do in russia. Then they set up a shill company in India to push their wears in russia without missing a beat under JNS. The company saying it would stay is Proctor & Gamble btw.

I think you will find there should be a place in the UN for all nations. But a place on the security council is total buffoonery. In a collection of diplomats discussing esoteric issues to the degree they do, it is always a circus side show. There have been many despots allowed in the UN & it does provide an outlet for them to listen in & voice concerns. Maybe during the war, a censure can be in force unless they are allowed to speak for some reason. I don't like how weak the UN is, but it is a gathering place for all nations regardless. No SC council seat though.

Unfortunately there is no formal means to bar a permanent security council member. You might say russia was never a member of the security council in the first place. Which is very true. But now they have sat in place of the USSR for so long in fact (& in practice) they now have 'squatters rights'. I think when the day of reckoning come for Orclandia & they have lost their war of aggression, one of the conditions for their surrender should be complete voluntary surrender of their seat from the UN Security Council. The UN is kind of a joke anyway. But it would be a strong statement.

@robzombieshot The US component of KFC has fully withdrawn from russia. Don't confuse those companies that are 'on the sly' in russia with those that the russian component is still operating with the same signage.

You could get on other channels like UATV & report the troll/bots there as well as here. It is a thankless job of opening all comment threads to seek them out. The good news is, it only take a few of us reporting them as 'Disinformation' to see their lies & myths all get deleted. It's up to you if you want to try it.

@harrybruijs2614 I agree. But there is a huge difference between a country like the US that works fully within the framework of the UN. And a nation that says screw you to the UN & conducts any war at any time it wants. The Orcs need to be tossed & then discuss dissolving the Security Council. But that is never likely to happen.

@LSmoney215 Islands? There are about 6 defense alliances in the Pacific involving many nations in Europe & North America & I won't even try to pronounce the one with Japan. Something Something Domei'. What are you talking about island names? These are like NATO except in the Pacific.

Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea are all under different defense agreements. The is no need to offer them NATO membership. Beside it not making geographic sense.
