  2. The territory of russia is full of different groups of people. I have only been a few times but I know enough. It isn't just ethnic people they use against others. They use country folk in their security services to hold sway in the cities & vice versa. There is much animosity between the two groups. In a break up of russia you may strange alliances like Volgograd Oblast pairing with Astrakhan.

  3. 70% would be about 50 million men that leave for Ukraine? Even ignoring children/old, you are still talking about 30 million. I'm sure dim-wit putin would wish it so. But I think you are off on your numbers. The population before the war was decidedly weighted to the female population. And the men that die in Ukraine won't help that.

  4. Many in the kremlin would thank them too. But an extreme nationalist might be much, much, worse. He could no more launch nukes than putin can, but that isn't their only weapon of mass destruction. Little putin may have an agent in Ukraine right now waiting to snap the cap on a vile & POOF!! 80% of all Ukrainians are dead. Assuming the scientists are wrong, maybe the death spreads much further. Maybe it keeps morphing around the world. Sound familiar to 2019? But much more deadly.
