  2. You can tell the confession was done with a desperate attempt to clear his conscience. I suspect many of the hardened criminals will admit what they have done hoping it won't haunt them for the rest of their lives. Many of their ilk won't confess anything of course but it will still 'wear' on them. And then a few will feel no such guilt at all. All will face justice in this world or beyond.

  3. I don't think the Ukrainians are looking to become more like Orcs. And of course, some of them running across this guy might make up justification to shoot him. Take no wagner prisoners probably isn't the way they will go. It will be very important to debrief these guys.
