Ukraine's nightmare has been an eye opening event for me. Europe's power is blunted from years of doing little in their own defense. US has the defense weaponry & know how but seems a 'fickle' ally at best. Ukraine will want to keep all of these as friends because they will do wonders helping Ukraine to rebuild. But I am really thinking UA needs a strong defense industry on it's own soil in the future. Most of (not all) Ukraine's partner nations really have issues with simply doing the right thing.
