  1. Good! Excellent decision to insult those that have left. That should make the few that were considering returning, change their minds. Hurl insults & act all 'russian' on them. LOL!! The ruble exchange rate is pretty meaningless right now. It is made by a free floating market that hasn't got a clue & not really interested in trading it. Some markets that do deal with it have wildly speculative prices much like the black market in russia itself. I would imagine barter is a the stabile way to trade.

  4. It depends on how actively a country at war resists. The russians have a pretty smart cookie at the central bank. Elvira something (can't remember her last name). Any government has different levels it can fall to in emergencies. If this time next year, the ruble is eaten away with inflation, there is always barter. The Orcs are almost to that point now. The deal with Iran & drones was done in exchange for fissionable material & jets. They know the ruble will be worthless. Hitler resisted how many years? Saddam Hussein? Idi Amen? Kim Jong Un? Countries can actively resist for years. And everything is alright . . . Until suddenly it isn't.

  5.  @stevemcgowen  Coke did eventually withdraw. I'm not sure about Nike (wouldn't surprise me) but another sport shoe & levi's were still doing business under shadow companies. I almost respect companies like Proctor & Gamble more that said straight up, 'we are staying' rather that all the back door stuff. Be careful what you see in russia may not be all it appears to be.
