@vksasdgaming9472 I have to disagree there. Reading his different 5 year plans and when he first mettled in military affairs Stalin was much worse. Both were/are very short. Both petty dictators but with enormous power. Vlad the Impaled has some modicum of competence in this 'new Boyar' economics & Stalin had none of that. In other words Putin only ran the country dry slowly. Stalin made advances in literacy as you say, only because there was much room to improve. Vlad may be a little worse here taking the interior backwards in that regard. Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum really.

@lynlyn9338 Drilling dry holes when telling people you will dig them a water well is no claim at all. China has several territorial claims again Russia & this is no alliance at all. More like a cease fire with China salivating over a weaker Russia. Putin insulted Turkey in it's recent deal for safe passage of grain. If you don't know the Turkish, bombing Odesa after making a Turkish brokered deal will not be forgotten for a very long time. Iran is a theocracy that sees Russia as a Godless state & only deals out of convenience. India doesn't trust Russia any further than they can throw them. And is gouging Russia on oil prices. Don't you have any better examples of Russia's strong alliance building skills? Right now it is hard to see them making friends wherever they go.

Russia goes back about 10 times further than that. I think you mean the USSR. Moskovy Russia comes from Kiev Rus in about 1100 AD. Kinda weird when you think of it. Russia claims they created Ukraine but it was Ukraine that created Russia. LOL!!
