Setting up mines has no place in war as you are leaving and it is a war crime. Baiting them with things a child would want to pick up (or any civilian really) is an atrocity. I know it really gets old labeling so much of what russia does as atrocity but this really is.

Ukraine has done an excellent job of rearming as well as a poor country could have since 2014. It shows by how they have caused Pooter to reconsider his strategy. It is a great shame that those that promised help have drip-fed them weapons to help them fight a war that will come to us all. And now threaten to shut off help completely.

A great deal of Russian tactics are based on history. 'If it worked so well once before' . . . And so on. It is very slow to adapt. One historical fact is the Russians are great winter warriors. And if given the right gear & motivation, they could possibly prove that again in this conflict. But while their officers sell their winter gear on eBay, many still are in summer uniforms. It is unlikely many will get what they need for winter. Just the first 6 weeks of this war they suffered frost bite much more often than Ukraine. I think the legend of the mighty Russian winter warrior will be broken as they freeze to death in place. Others will have to loot to get the supplies they need.

Well . . . Not quite. His fairy tale at first was to stop NATO from doing this. His narrative is Ukraine is an inferior sub-species incapable of this. Imagine Pootsie's surprise?
40
How much would you trust an Indian leader that has his own citizens kidnapped in russia to be sent to the trenches in Ukraine, then gives putin a big ole' hug on his last visit? What sort of demented leader does that?
33
So many trolls having their comments reported & deleted. Very impressive guys. Nice job!
32
LOL!! Little putin using nukes? He would have an FSB team wrestle him to the floor within minutes. And he knows it.
32
I have watched Starsky from early on in this war. He is great. I watch him a little less now because of the length of his streams & the fact I have less time. But if you have an hour or two, you should catch some of his videos. He patiently answers questions from the stream many are the same ones over & over. Troll accuse him of being a fake soldier & knuckle head westerners aren't much better. He tells it like it is as in this video. The Orcs new offensive is turning into a 'Russian Graveyard Filling Operation'. Watch some of his shorts or less lengthy videos for a good 'read' on him.
31
Little Pooter says NATO is already on the ground. Might as well give him his wish.
26
Unfortunately for russia, he does cut a rather pathetic figure. Oh well . . . Their choice of leader.
26
I really didn't think little putin would bring Ukraine into the discussion & admit such a monumental failure to seek out threats from a country he is at war with. Amazing.
24
Little putin stumbles over his own feet again & raises the ire of South Korea. It would be a shame if his own people take him out before he can learn anything.
23
He is probably well on his way to that.
21
I think the lack of support in fighter jets is very unjustified. But keep in mind, jets would have limited success against ballistic missile attack. Some of the more sophisticated militaries are starting to learn how. They would be very successful (in the right numbers) against anything like cruise missiles. I'm not sure anyone has tried to intercept air to air used to attack ground targets. I understand Ukraine not getting F-22 or F-35. I'm less understanding about Patriots but that does make a little sense. But give them everything else!! Stop dragging your feet!! The Russian toes you don't step on today, will just as happily slit your throat for some other reason tomorrow!! Why don't diplomats get this?
20
A widening war would mean some capability to do so. Whether you mobilize 1.5 million or 15 million, will simply mean a larger pile of corpses. The weight of numbers will get them some gains that are just overrun. But without the right equipped army, you won't gain much with Banzai charges with fixed bayonets. They could start pulling T-55s out of storage. The few that can be recovered. I think most will be shocked how fast this ends when Chuckles the Tsar is replaced.
19
If only Poots had an actual military. He will just have to do with the rabble he started with.
18
@boloalain4082 I think your question is ask in a twisted way. Are the Europeans willing to die for THEIR OWN freedom? And there is no need for any of them to die. Just give Ukraine what they need to protect the rest of Europe.
17
@robblackburn6367 Ukraine will be lucky if T-rump doesn't send aid to russia. Or try to anyway.
16
@smichael7852 You do realize anyone can report your comment. So who is 'They'?
16
I'm wondering what sort of pressure could be brought to bare on Ukraine. If you are saying that partners in this war would threaten to pull support, I can't even imagine the public outcry this would bring. It might even cause more support to be given. I love how experts get this all wrong. It could be that Ukraine will get war weary after a while & decide to sit down to talks. I don't believe they should, but it is up to them. With NO outside influence. Next video you have with an 'expert' that has such a bone-headed idea, have them list the places they propose be left subjugated to the Russians. Not every small town & village. Just a list of 10,000 population & above they think should be left for Russia. They will probably need to justify this list in light of the atrocities that are already known about & the many more that are suspected. Getting off my soap box now but be ready to protest your government in case they do make any such suggestion of pulling support.
16
It is significant that putin went to Belarus this time. Not quite begging on his knees but close. It is also surprising they didn't have a box for the garden gnome to stand on. Normally they don't like to showcase just how short putin really is. I'm not sure how much intelligence Lukashenko is working with but he seems to stand firm in not sending his forces into Ukraine. It is probably too late for him to avoid war crimes tribunal. He allowed russia to use his territory to stage his forces.
15
I think it is exactly for a declining population. Or more accurately, the appearance of doing something about the declining population.
14
Pooter's narrative hardly matches his actions of a desperate trapped animal.
14
The Times Radio Community does little to toss them out. Some will even argue with them which is exactly what the troll farms want.
13
I would like to state what I think is the obvious. That Ukraine would have fought no matter the weapons at hand. The country would probably been over run, But a protracted insurgency would have begun. It would have taken years (and may still take some time) but the Russian misadventure was doomed to fail. All Western weapons did was to quicken the pace & stop the entire country from being occupied. Which is still pretty big.
12
I have heard that before. I think putin had the gun tucked in his belt at the front. Pointed at his 'nether regions' when it went off. He may have shot his 'little putin' off. LOL!!
12
It is confirm by many to be an old rocket fuel storage for the ICBM's they used to have. And they had a lot of them too. I would wait a few days for confirmation. Only a few outside sources have spoken about it yet. It was cheaper to store it rather that have it made inert. Which makes sense & it also would make sense for the Orcs to hit it thinking it was something else.
12
The next 'Monster to be' will likely be very amicable on the world stage at first. Then quick to anger when he sees a way to claw back some respect. Very contrite at first to ease pressure would be very typical. Withdrawing from the war & starting to make amends. But unless the rest of the world keeps track of the pulse of Russia we won't know. The absolute worst thing is to let off the pressure quickly. Easing of these over a decade will be the only way to go. We won't know for some time what the next one will be.
12
The russian officers were selling all the winter gear on eBay months ago. They freeze like anyone else & the russian winter warrior is a myth.
11
In normal times he would never use nukes. But as his time runs out & he is backed into a corner more, he might like to in the desperation to save his worthless hide. But by then, he will have lost so much power he won't be able too. He has probably passed that point a while back.
11
@s0ycapitan Listen to the copy & paste troll talk about how boring other peoples posts are. LOL!! So the maniac putin's minions can only critique about how boring posts are? That's it?
11
This wash cycle might be disrupted. A country splintered into many pieces aren't likely to rally around a common cause. Many will be lucky to not be ruled by warlords with a grudge toward moscow.
11
@livingtribunal4110 'Protect the rest of Europe from what?' Sure . . . Make believe that putin & all his officials haven't threatened almost every country on Earth. LOL!!
11
The more desperate they get, the wilder their fantasies.
10
@lucks4fools978 If they could manage to capture any ground. It has been a long time since they have moved anywhere.
10
A country is watching that very much wants to invade Taiwan. Even if they are dissuaded now it wouldn't hurt to give Ukraine more weapons in a more timely manner. I'm thinking china's claims on parts of russia in 2021 is now looking very appealing. The chinese are very adaptable & taking Primorsky Krai is almost as good as Taiwan. Better in many ways in fact.
10
Their unreasoned anger in russia is a bit harder to explain with their own depleted uranium rounds.
9
@Mageroeth 'You'd risk nuclear war' Awww that is sweet. You think putin could use nukes. Of course there is the little problem of him being wrestled to the ground about 2 minutes after giving such an order.
9
@michaelschuenemann3505 Thank you, Michael. I'll take 'Myths & Fairy Tales of russia' for $40. LOL!! I'm sure you meant Ukraine has lost 10's of thousands of tanks & 100's of thousands of soldiers. 'Chuckles' the Tsar himself said he personally destroyed all aircraft & air defense systems the 3rd day of the war. You need to keep up with what is being said. LOL!!
9
Russophobe Although the phrase never passed his lips, he all other officials said it loud & clear through their state media that would never dare to say something not state approved.
9
Jesus, gotta keep it real, Broh. 😁
9
@DesertPunk-USA As you get older, the legacy you leave behind is the most important thing. He is acutely aware of his standing in the world & knows it will come to russia also.
9
@polarxta2833 It hasn't been that much for the military & no, it isn't nearly enough to grind down a once superpower with large stores of weapons.
9
Where are all the Orc trolls today? Don't tell me Poot's trip to see his best bud Kim has run him out of money.
9
Good luck to them indeed. If the report is true & they are hostile to everyone except their masters, then the UN does need to leave. Mali has 'made it's bed'.
9
Humm . . . If you take each countries' defense budget. You take away from that for maintenance, upkeep, pay/benetits, development of new systems you are left with 40% (?) to fight adversaries. If you split between the two main ones Russian & China you could afford to give 20% to Ukrainians to fight Russia each year. I would say 20% of the West's defense budget would keep them well stocked. And if it doesn't, I can pay more taxes to a very worthy cause. Ukraine fights them now or all of us pay a LOT more later. Your choice. PLUS a peace settlement & reduction of sanctions may include very large reductions of nuclear stock piles. How much would that be worth to ya?
9
@@natural5584 I think Ukraine is negotiating peace with the Orcs quite successfully right now. A lasting peace that will see russia not waring with it's weaker neighbors for a very long time. Not just the pause in the fighting so dim wit putin can gather his strength to fight even harder.
9
Oh let's not exaggerate. Maybe a quarter. LOL!! Some trolls probably are threatened to work or go to the trenches. Pootsie always has been a great motivator.
8
@jamesstuart4018 Thanks for little putin's version. I'm sure we will all carefully consider what you have said. LOL!!
8
@lorenzcassidy3960 I think he was being sarcastic. 🙂
