  1. II see Anna has been reported for deletion. Sorry I missed her comments. As far as atrocities, I can't imagine what they will find in Mariupol. Maybe even some smaller places with worse? It really makes you wonder about humanity sometimes. I don't delude myself into thinking it could never happen in my country. It only takes apathy in the population to grow a 'Monster' in the capital of any country.

  2. The UN understands perfectly what Russia is. Their response is blunted in political rhetoric and a high school debate team mentality that I don't understand. Many at the UN cringe when certain discussion are taken up. They are people like the rest of us but bound by political correctness & parliamentary procedure. For the rest of us, the UN is gutless organization that is basically a debate forum for nations. Which is still useful but rarely news worthy. Some new outlets do seem to hang on every word from them. To imagine it solving the world's problems it to be severely disappointed.
