@bradmodd7856 ANOTHER army? I thought they were doing an excellent job with the one they have. They hold many in reserve that are rotated in & out & some that haven't been used yet. Unless you are thinking they will need something huge to take Crimea. So far russia runs or retreats pretty easily.

I would think peace talks with no ceasefire should do it. Or with a ceasefire make the conditions very stiff to continue for russia. In either case, it is Ukraine's choice. It would be my only advice to them that it may be too early for that yet. Wait at least until the next counter offensive. I could be Blyatistan's appetite for war will be much less & they will be will to settle for much less.

While Zelensky has made that promise & may stick to it. The country may get war weary also & things may change in a couple of years. There is no hurry to rush into negotiations anytime soon. There is no guaranteed this expert has any clearer crystal ball than the rest of us. Putin may be the one that cedes a great deal of territory in a few months. But if it does drag out for a few years, Ukraine may make some other choices.
