  1. There are many things a russian citizen will tolerate as we are now seeing. One thing they won't tolerate is a weak leader that is a loser. If Putin were to admit they had lost it would be days before someone would replace him. The question of a russian leader admitting they had lost is unthinkable. In the past they have 'dressed up' loses to look more like victory. They may be the most naïve nation on earth believing what they are told to. But even the most naïve russian probably wouldn't buy into 'We withdrew to 2013 borders as a sign of good will'.
