  1. The is a small percentage of them that malfunction & do just lie on the ground. I think that is the main gripe about them. Now why the same groups that hate them don't fight harder against mines, I have no idea.

  2.  @trumpforever6706  The US uses mines that become inert after a time. They just won't 'ert'. I'm not sure about the other 2.
