@tonydanis1480 It is very likely if a launch was ordered the Human launch chain would break down totally. Probably including most tactical weapons as well. It isn't so much the maintenance. However, if you consider upkeep, They maintain their conventional forces in abysmal condition. They use those all the time. So how much worse a branch of the service that is never used? There are actually a few other reasons not to fear russian nukes. 😁

Western tanks overmatch those of russia? Nonsense . . . Chuckles the Tsar will simply put his best Kremlin wizards to work waving their magic wands & Orclandia will have 100's of T-14s. Then together with a 15 million man mobilization they will show what russia is made of!

@Rossi_Gamer You know a lot by how the security service of US/UK warned Ukraine of impeding invasion. They knew far to many details to be just guessing. Now if they have enough 'plants' in the russian military that reveal plans for movement, wouldn't it make sense the human launch chain in russia is riddled with them? The order from the top would never reach the silos/submarines. You can rest easy. Which does NOT mean we should treat the nuclear threat lightly. It is serious but not a sword of Damocles either.
