Wasn't he the same press officer that said there would be no mobilization? Two days before there was mobilization. Hummm 🤔It's good that russia won't give in my estimation. It makes the AFU negotiations much stronger.

I'm not sure a public announcement by the US that russia is ready to talk is a good idea. We all know how badly they want a cease fire. I think the AFU is doing a great job of negotiating with russia right now. I'm sure russia will do a glorious job of regrouping all the way back how too.

That really isn't the case. But it does give the impression of a gentle nudge to Ukraine. I don't think it should be mentioned at all in public. They can tell russia says this & that in private all they want.
