  1. A country is watching that very much wants to invade Taiwan. Even if they are dissuaded now it wouldn't hurt to give Ukraine more weapons in a more timely manner. I'm thinking china's claims on parts of russia in 2021 is now looking very appealing. The chinese are very adaptable & taking Primorsky Krai is almost as good as Taiwan. Better in many ways in fact.

  2.  @YeCannyDaeThat  I didn't say it would be the same. They have made territorial claims on the area just last year as traditionally chinese. It would suit them fine to take an swath of russia & plan for Taiwan later. If their economy will hole out long enough
