@michaelschuenemann3505 Thank you, Michael. I'll take 'Myths & Fairy Tales of russia' for $40. LOL!! I'm sure you meant Ukraine has lost 10's of thousands of tanks & 100's of thousands of soldiers. 'Chuckles' the Tsar himself said he personally destroyed all aircraft & air defense systems the 3rd day of the war. You need to keep up with what is being said. LOL!!

The pundits always harp too much on training. If we took fresh cadets from university to train as fighter pilots, then yes it would take a couple of years. The AFU pilots that were already trained in the US are front line pilots fresh out of soviet planes. All you need to do is get them used to reaching for the right button in the cockpit (muscle memory) of the NATO jets for a few months. Other than that, logistics is a bear. But Ukraine isn't some backwater country. They have a rich aeronautical history. Get them the parts & a little training & they will fix them. Western countries need to stop stalling & get them what they need to win. The training could have been done long ago on tanks, HIMARS, Patriots, Bradleys, and any number of systems just in case they get them. Stop dragging your DAMN FEET!! Get serious about this war! They are doing you a huge favor with no loss of life to you!

@jim2376 Cut & past makes Michael's job so much easier.

It did. Back in June even before Congress approved the funding. It was a small contingent. You don't want to flip flop pilots between different types. Muscle memory is lost & you don't wanna be reaching where the button 'ain't' in an emergency. They could train another small group getting ready. Then start large groups when the plane are on the way. Really the only thing that would take a long time is maintenance & logistics.

Hummm . . . In the first month & half of the war, a large number left due to indignation toward the brutality of their country. For them what you say is very true. People refusing to fight now are normally doing so to save their skins. Not some noble cause. Many would be at home right now cheering on the war in front of the TV. There are some that stayed & tried to help or spoke out. But it is hard to know them & the chronically apathic.

@peterlangan1181 Thanks random YouTube guy. You have certainly opened my eyes to the truth. How could I ever have thought Ukraine had a chance against the mighty army of Blyatistan? The 2nd (worst) army of the world. I'm sure now they have taken 'the gloves off' they will finally start something serious. See? I thought it was the bad guys running out of ammunition, not Ukraine's partner countries. SLAVA the bunker rat of the Kremlin!! May his grave be spat on for generations!!

Tiny Winkel may have a point. 'Chuckles' the Tsar may turn to his nukes. Imagining his decrepit nuclear forces (which he never uses) to be any better than his decrepit conventional forces (which he uses all the time) is a stretch of course. But the threat to use them . . . Now there is his secret weapon. The collective West better watch their step. Or face the threats of the Kremlin bunker rat!!

OH!! Look at all the Orc troll/bots having their comments reported & deleted. I always thought the Times Radio community was a little too timid to do much of that. Maybe it got to be too much! Just click on those three little dots on the right side of their post. Good job everyone!!
