  2. There are several humans in the launch chain that the order must pass through. It is highly unlikely that a command would ever reach the silos. However tactical nukes (supposedly) have less safeguards. But even there the commander almost certainly has a second number he is supposed to call if he is ever ordered to launch. One that putin may suspect but doesn't know for sure. Or at this stage he may know.

  3. So . . . Chuckles the Tsar isn't all there? DUH!! I think it is unfair to call him and extreme paranoid. Sure he sits about 10m from anyone at a table. Unless he has to do a photo op. Maybe he has lots of body doubles. But don't we all? It would be so funny to see some attack come close & really rattle his cage.

  4. As much as I would like to use any opportunity to say anything bad about pity party putin, he has a mental condition. He is a sociopath (psychopathy) they do give the appearance of using people as objects but in his own way, he isn't thinking just about his own life. He is thinking of his legacy for sure (narcissistic but not consumed by it). It is doubtful, being ex-KGB, he is a coward either.

  5. I can think of a few. Not Navalny. But even if they are a 'monster to be' they will want to correct putin's wrongs & will do back flips to get out of sanctions.
