  1. Using old soviet equipment forces you into a corner of using old soviet weapons for the equipment. Need some Western stuff to open the munition stores of the West. I personally think a MIG-29 is fine. But it just doesn't 'sync' with a modern battlefield. Plus you may have to use dwindling stores of munitions.

  2.  @critical_thinker73  Their threat of nukes is as empty as their heads. They are much more aware that a service they never use (nuclear) are in much worse shape than the convention military they use all the time. They also know since the US/UK leaked the invasion weeks before it happened. There are tons of agents among them. The Human Launch Chain would totally break down & never happen. There are other worries for 'Chuckles' the Tsar. Many signs of a crumbling nuclear force. You take any threat serious but don't let it effect your actions in other ways.

  4. I think we need to stop worrying about how giving jet fighters to Ukraine might win friends (more orders to increase defense orders) and influence enemies (cause China to think twice). We just need to do what is right and stop dragging our feet about it!! Then if General Dynamics or BAE/Airbus get more orders all the better. If we deter China's aggression all the better still. But do what needs to be done first & foremost!
