It is significant that putin went to Belarus this time. Not quite begging on his knees but close. It is also surprising they didn't have a box for the garden gnome to stand on. Normally they don't like to showcase just how short putin really is. I'm not sure how much intelligence Lukashenko is working with but he seems to stand firm in not sending his forces into Ukraine. It is probably too late for him to avoid war crimes tribunal. He allowed russia to use his territory to stage his forces.

@dijosto He was a definite player in the invasion and of course he would have sent in his troops if russia would have done better. His crimes against his own people will get Lukashenko a trial. His crimes against Ukraine will probably get him a spot on a tribunal. He is a sweetheart alright. If he weren't so dependent on putin, he would kick him to the curb in a heartbeat.
