@Rene Torres It will have the major effect of if the power circles of the Kremlin don't do something, they may face indictment too. I wouldn't sweat over immediate results. Like sanctions, it will take a bit of time.

@rtqii Of course not. And the US would cooperate in arresting 'wrongway' putin if he wound up here in perfect adherence to ICC.. But it does sorta mean they pick & choose what they follow.

As well they should be rattled. More indictments could be handed down but leniency might be considered for those bringing down Chuckles the Tsar. Some oligarch comfortable about to relax in Cyprus or Portugal might be in a rude awakening. Oh well, I'm sure the bunker rat of the Kremlin will figure something out. Maybe he could bunk with his new 'buddy with no limits' Kim in the DPRK. Until Kim decides he is of no use.
